Of course, you can't visit Wurst without getting the famous vegan soft pretzel! If you're looking for something a bit heartier, the Bahn Mi with Field Roast sausage is one of their specialties. Fargo Supermarkets for Vegans

There are vegan options at almost all of Fargo's supermarkets. The issue, however, is there is no one great option for everything. This means, to get the most complete shopping list done, you'll want to visit 2-3 different supermarkets to check all the boxes.

These supermarkets include:

  • Tochi: A small, independent hippy-style specialty grocery shop that is packed with vegan options. This is a great place to shop plastic-free when purchasing grains, beans, and herbs. Highly recommend checking this place out - the vibe alone is worth it.
  • Cashwise: Has a good selection of vegan dairy and egg substitutes in the "healthy" section of the store. Cashwise also has a lot of frozen vegan foods too like pizzas, burgers, and nuggets.
  • Hornbachers: You'll find an entire aisle (almost fully) dedicated to specialty plant-based foods like vegan cheeses, mock meats, and so much more.
  • Natural Grocers: A great store for specialty vegan options that you won't find elsewhere in Fargo. You can get mock meats, vegan cheese, dips, plant-based roasts, and more.
  • Asian and American (A&A) Supermarket: Amazing selection of ethnic foods from Indian, Thai, and Vietnamese. You'll also find fresh produce here like bok choy you won't find anywhere else in Fargo.
  • Target: Has a good selection of vegan options spread out. You can find unique vegan items here like Tattooed Chef Pizzas.
